Taps Leading Systems Integrator to Support Company’s Global Expansion and Deployment of Innovative BSS Solutions.

Seavus is announcing its partnership with Transverse, a leader in providing low-cost, carrier-grade business support systems (BSS). Together, the two companies will help communication service providers, utilities and media companies gain greater business agility and business model innovation by deploying BSS solutions built upon SOA and web services architecture models.

It is our pleasure to officially inform you that from 27 June 2008, Seavus Group is certified according to ISO 9001:2000 standard for quality of processes and ISO 14001:2004 standard for environmental protection.

The certification audit regarding ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 International Standards have passed successfully in Seavus development centres Skopje, Nis and Minsk.

This is a result of a hard work and willingness of all Seavus employees on order to standardize and organize the work processes according to the international quality standards.

With the implementation of the standards for quality of processes and for environmental protection, Seavus has proven once again that is a company which is a source of technological know-how for development of the economy on the market of information technology. It shows the capacity for export and the eligibility for competition on the global markets.

By late 2006, little less than one million organizations had been certified acc. to ISO 9001:2000. Such terms as “requirement”, “customer satisfaction”, “product”, “process”, “system”, “quality” and “quality improvement” are defined internationally and thus become comparable. The four basic modules of the ISO 9001:2000 Standard are

• Measurement, analysis and improvement

For all the organizations, the implementation of the improvement cycle “Plan-Do-Check-Act” should be in the centre of interest when applying the ISO 9001:2000 Standard.

The goal of environmental management acc. to ISO 14001:2004 is to promote environmental protection and prevent adverse environmental impacts and pollution in harmony with socio-economic requirements. Just like ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 is based on the idea of making processes controllable by means of management systems. Instead of specifying the contents, ISO 14001:2004 trusts in the steering effect of management systems that work well. For all the organizations, the implementation of the improvement cycle “Plan-Do-Check-Act” should be in the centre of interest when applying the ISO 14001:2004 Standard.

This year, the world’s most important IT trade fair, CeBIT 2008, took place in Hannover from 4th – 9th March.

Seavus Doo Nis as part of Seavus Group had a booth at the Serbian National Pavilion in Hall 4.

The official Seavus representatives were Ms. Ana Kacarska (ProjectOffice.net Product Analyst), Mr. Aleksandar Blagoevski-Trazoff (Seavus Products Sales and Marketing Manager) and Mr. Orce Gocevski (Seavus Global Sales, Business Developer).

The Seavus Group is proud to announce the release of the Seavus Easy Update (SEU) as a MS® Project add-in.

Seavus Easy Update is a new MS® Project add-in which provides task update functionality coupled with Seavus Project Viewer. Seavus Easy Update offers easier collaboration between the team members and project managers.

Team members use the functionality within Seavus Project Viewer. They can send updates and notes through email to project managers about task progress and how well they are doing towards completing their assignments.

Project managers receive task updates as e-mail notifications. By double clicking on an appropriate e-mail, they are able to use the SEU toolbar or ribbon to manage the appropriate updates. They can open received task updates by using the SEU toolbar in Microsoft® Project. When project managers accept or reject an appropriate update, the team member receives notification from a project manager about their decision.
